Feature Stories & Web Videos

A compelling story can bring excitement, laughter, or tears.  A compelling story is what drives us as storytellers and we are proud to bring these stories to life.  Features and Web Videos are typically short pieces that are used in larger broadcasts, such as sports, or posted to social media and on websites.  Typically five to ten minutes is all you have to tell a complete story and entertain or engage your audience.

WTT - CoCo Vandeweghe

A feature and web piece produced for World TeamTennis that was aired as part of larger Match broadcasts on CBS and ESPN, as well as featured on WTT website and social media platforms.  A single camera shoot is always a challenge, but in the right hands that singe camera looks like a much larger production.

WTT - The High Five in 2020

Combining archive and original footage to tell the story of how COVID killed the sports classic High Five celebration, and how World TeamTennis players adapted.  This feature and web piece produced for World TeamTennis that was aired as part of larger Match broadcasts on CBS and ESPN, as well as featured on WTT website and social media platforms. 

LUCIA - Pittsburgh Festival Opera

When COVID-19 shut down the PFO season, they decided to take their Young Artists Program virtual.  TDS Media stepped into to provide editing and consulting.  The performers where all in different locations, as where the directors.  To further complicate the project, there was no professional camera operators, just the performers themselves.   The directors only had stage experience and never worked with video before.  TDS Media worked some "Movie Magic" in the edit room bringing the directors vision to life.

Jr NBA - NBA.com

World TeamTennis Today

During the 2020 World TeamTennis Today season, TDS Media produced a daily recap show that was featured on WTT website, social media, as well as international broadcast partners websites.  This was a collaborative effort lead by TDS Media.
