Virtual Events & Streaming

The phrase "virtual events" was coined during the COVID Pandemic, but for TDS Media it was nothing new.   Web streaming has been growing by leaps and bounds, and TDS Media has been on the cutting edge of streaming technologies.  We were part of one of the first live 360° multi-camera broadcasts for Fox News, with coverage of New Years  in Times Square.  We have also  worked on live streams for Microsoft, AARP, Autism Speaks, and Howard Hanna.

POLITICO Town Hall

TDS directed this live Town Hall web stream for Politico and AARP hosted by former ABC News White House Correspondent Ann Compton.  The program explored the issues that matter most to voters age 50+.  The show had twelve guests and was a four camera setup.

PWDA - Virtual Conference

Pennsylvania Workforce Development Association (PWDA) contracted TDS Media to transition their in-person conference to a virtual event in 2020 & 2021.  TDS Media provided a turnkey solution by providing a platform, as well as producing over 60 pre-recorded workshops and streaming eight live sessions.  This is an example of one of the workshops.  The presenters appeared remotely from their home or office and controlled the PowerPoint presentation remotely.

 Howard Hanna - Virtual Awards 

Howard Hanna's annual awards show was pivoted to a virtual presentation in 2021 and TDS Media provided the live streaming production services for a very successful show celebrating the achievements of the Howard Hanna Team.

Autism Speaks - Virtual Gala

Autism Speaks Pittsburgh did not know how they would put on their annual Chefs Create Pittsburgh Gala to raise funds benefiting Autism Speaks.  COVID restrictions made it impossible to hold the gala in-person, but TDS Media helped them pivot to a virtual gala.  Hosted by former KDKA weatherman Jon Burnett and his son, with Chef Anthony Marino in the kitchen helping instruct the audience at home on how to cook the meal package they picked up earlier.  

Eckert Seamans - Virtual Learning

COVID did not stop the need for Continuing Legal Education requirements for attorneys, but Eckert Seamans was able to provide classes to their members virtually with the expertise of TDS Media.
